I thought it’d be cute if Chuck falls asleep while Mike’s still chatting on the communicator but instead of hanging up, Mike would leave the communicator on to listen to Chuck sleeping (read: snoring) before he falls asleep too.

Well, the fandom has seen a big increase in shipping art, and I just wanted to make a small suggestion in regards to this recent wave of “suggestive” fanart:
For those not in the know, tumblr has a motorcity porn and motorcity shipping tag. These exist in order separate the clean art from the naughty ones, and to provide the fans with a place to show their art without feeling awkward with posting it on the main Motorcity tag.
Do keep in mind that
although porn is great,some fellow fans might be a bit uncomfortable seeing such work on the front page.So please follow the suggestions.

Just guessing, but I’d say black for hate, pink for friendship, grey for being the mediator between two people who’d kill each other otherwise and red is romantic love.

i really like Dutch&Julie
and for no reason at all i’ve already been shipping most of the ships before……i saw any of the episodes? But especially the aforementioned Dutch/Julie, Chuck/Claire, Mike/Chuck and then Mike/Jules and Texas/Julie after seeing the first two eps. This is normal for me! I’m pretty used to shipping characters from a show that isn’t shipping-heavy itself or just making joking passes at it. And then suddenly, they become legit ships for me, ones i am invested in.
then again i kinda have different shipping preferences i guess. I once mentioned to a friend in a convo that i couldn’t ship much or didn’t, at all. Well, not entirely the truth,there’s just certain triggers and elements that make me able to ship at all. But i don’t ship much without those, or at all. There’s reasons for that too i guess. It’s okay to ship in a fandom, but when those thoughts are applied

Also another thing i wanted to point out but never got a chance to until now: on a basic level, everyone already ships. It’s just isn’t called shipping until our internet/savvy generation came along. Imagine your grandma or great aunt watching a soap on the telly. What is usually happening in soap operas? SHIPS APLENTY AND SHIPS AHOY RITE
it’s like A-grade shipping. My own Grandma and her sister were so emotionally invested in seeing the relationship turmoils resolved, they never missed episodes of anything. TV I TELL YA.
and that’s okay because that’s just a way to enjoy a narrative! it’s totes okay.
